Born in Lisbon Portugal moved to London to study Pharmacology. After graduating embarked on a carer in management in the music industry working in various positions from A&R to Press Officer. Joana is founder and director of Lumin since 2001, supporting electronic arts worldwide. She is also advisor in various organisations in the areas of innovation in the arts. Branded art leader in 2005 by the Welcome Trust and the Clore Leadership Programme.
